Next year, Discover Hudsonville Days will be July 29-31, 2010. We are in the planning stages right now, so please email me your ideas, or better yet stop by our informational TALK SHOP meetings. We TALK SHOP each Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Mocha N Music. We would love to have your input. Discover Hudsonville Days will include the annual Gemmens’ Tent Sale, a craft show, a classic car show, fun kids’ activities, and much, much more. Let us know how you (and your business) would like to be involved. My hope is that each of our shopping areas: The Plaza, The Balsam Business District, and the 32nd Avenue Commercial Corridor — will have some unique activities for families and shoppers. Also, this year we are excited to have the involvement of Hudsonville Ice Cream who will assist with our Hudsonville Ice Cream festival! It should be great fun - and a win-win for everyone involved. We are hoping to bring hundreds, maybe thousands!, of people to Hudsonville for that very fun weekend.
Again, email me pmeyer@hudsonville.org or stop by our TALK SHOP meetings so that we can benefit from your ideas.

Hudsonvilleplaza.com is dedicated to promoting the businesses and events in the Hudsonville area. We have three distinct shopping areas in Hudsonville. The Plaza Square is loosely defined as all businesses in and around Gemmens’, the Keegstra plaza, and the Family Fare plaza. Soon, we will have sister sites that highlight the Balsam Business District and the 32nd Avenue Commercial Corridor. Each site will feature businesses and special offers, events and important activities that are happening within those districts. For now, businesses will be listed on this site until we grow to include the other two.
As the Hudsonville Revitalization Program continues and grows, these sites (and the district boundaries) will be more refined and defined, and each area will take on a unique flavor, offering something special and important for our community. Eventually, each site will have a list of merchants and businesses along with links to their websites. One of our first goals in the next year is our EBO Project - EBO = Every Business Online. We hope to have every business in Hudsonville online within the next year. That way, our websites can be “one-stop shopping” for residents and visitors looking for services.
Continue to check back often for additional information, updates, and new links.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Patty Hoezee Meyer, Director of Marketing.

By now, most business owners should have received a business profile form in the mail. If you did not receive one, or if you prefer an electronic copy, click on the title Business Profile Form.
